Transductomics is a sequencing-based method used to identify bacterial DNA carried by viral-like particles (VLPs) in both pure cultures and complex communities. TrIdent is an R package that automates the analysis of transductomics data by detecting, classifying, and characterizing read coverage patterns linked to potential transduction events.

ProActive is a tool for detecting and visualizing gaps and elevations in mapped sequencing read coverage using a 2D pattern-matching algorithm. It works with both genomes and metagenomes, with the option to incorporate gene annotations from .gff files. When provided, ProActive generates an output table highlighting annotated genes within detected regions, allowing users to explore gene annotations directly in the read coverage plots.
