This Tuesday, the Kleiner Lab gathered at Umstead Park for a summer potluck to celebrate and send off Dr. Gaurav Pal after 3.5 wonderful years with the group.
The afternoon was filled with great food, music, laughter, and beautiful weather as we reflected on Gaurav’s time in the lab and all the contributions he made to our team. Throughout his postdoctoral work in the Kleiner Lab, Gaurav brought tremendous scientific expertise, collaboration, and kindness, leaving a lasting impact on everyone in the group.
We are excited to share that Gaurav has accepted a junior group leader/scientist position at the Austrian Institute of Technology! This marks an exciting new chapter as he begins his first independent research position.
While we will greatly miss him as both a colleague and friend, we are incredibly proud of all he has accomplished and cannot wait to see where his future scientific discoveries and adventures take him.
Congratulations, Gaurav, and best wishes from all of us in the Kleiner Lab!
